Representing the pinnacle of GP’s portable charger product range, the M2 Series PowerBank has recently won the Red Dot – Product Design 2022 award for its innovative and outstanding product design.
Launched in 2022, the GP M2 Series PowerBank combines power with fashion – featuring a minimalist design. Colour plays a critical role – with a selection of stylish and trendy colors that appeals to a broad range of tastes developed from the latest colour trend forecasts.
Built for ultra-fast power transmission, M2 Series PowerBank charges your phone to over 55% in just 30 minutes*.
With up to 22.5W charging speed, it can charge two devices simultaneously and supports PD 3.0, QC 3.0, PPS, SCP, FCP, AFC fast charge. The portable charger regulates charging speed and can optimise low power charging for Bluetooth earphones and smartwatches.
“The idea behind the design of the M2 Series PowerBank was to create a lifestyle phone accessory that uses a minimalist design language to encapsulate a high-tech package of electronics and batteries in the form of a stylish yet user-friendly mobile power device. We pushed the boundaries and challenged the paradigm of “boxy shapes” which is the common design language in the powerbank segment in order to create an iconic design.”
- Mr. Hamid Bekradi,
Head of Product Planning and Design at GP Batteries.
“In this year of the competition, I have been particularly struck by the exceptional creativity shown by the award-winning products. It is really impressive and praiseworthy that there are still designs out there that can surprise us with their form and functionality. This makes it clear that design cannot be restricted or brought to a standstill by unfavorable circumstances. On the contrary, more and more new ideas and creations emerge, and futuristic techniques are developed. The fact that the quality of these products equals their level of innovation makes them well-deserved winners in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2022.”
- Professor Dr. Peter Zec,
founder and CEO of Red Dot.
